The Ghosts of Ridgefield returns to Hemlock Hills!!
Detailed Description:

"Ghosts of Ridgefield" has become a Halloween tradition for many local families and friends.  Join us for our 26th annual Ghosts Hike! You will be guided along the trails through Hemlock Hills where you will encounter legendary, ghostly figures.  These characters from Ridgefield's past will entertain you with tales or personal stories.  Some of our past "guests" included Col. Bradley, Chief Catoonah, Geraldine Farrar and The Leatherman.  But who will show up this year is anyone's guess.  During your haunted hike, you will be fortified with some cookies and apple cider around a campfire.  Don't miss this Discovery Center classic!

Reservations are strongly recommended.  Walk with your group Guide through the woods at night.

Reservations can be made to secure a time. The first tour on Saturday starts at 6:00 P.M. and subsequent tours go out in assigned groups of up to 15 people every 15 minutes.  Those with very young children should ask for the earliest time slot.

Discovery Center members are $10, non-members $15 per person. You will be assigned a start time in an e-mail you will receive a few days before the event.

Location:  Hemlock Hills Open Space, Bogus Road entrance.  Take Ridgebury Road north to Ned's Mountain Road (at points this road is very narrow) and follow to intersection of Bogus Road.  Entrance to Ghosts is on the right.  Or take George Washington Highway to Old Mill Road continue straight and it will turn into Ned's Mountain Road.  Ghost will be at the intersection of Bogus Road on the left.

Program is Co-sponsored by Ridgefield Park and Recreation
