Summary:
The ancient story of Andromeda plays out across the heavens tonight, along with the Gods Mars,Saturn,and Neptune. All are Welcome
Detailed Description:

Andromeda is to meet an awful fate by the monster Cetus, but is saved by Perseus who flies in on Pegasus.  Mars, Saturn, and if we are lucky, faint Neptune may be viewed. More details on this program will be posted at a later date.

At 5:30PM, there will be an optional mini-lesson for participants, especially children, to better understand what they will be viewing. This will take place in the classroom and is included in the price of the program.  Viewing will begin on Astronomy Hill at 600PM.

What to bring:  Please dress for the weather.  Bring a flashlight, as the walk to/from the observatory is dark. If you have them, lawn chairs and binoculars are welcome, insect repellent is recommended. For those with smartphones, there is a possibility that photos off the telescopes can be taken during the program. 

Program Fees:  Members to NPF and the Discovery Center: $4 per person with a $16 maximum for a family
                           Non-Members: $6 per person with $24 maximum for a family
