How to care for chickens in the winter and other things chicken: Humor, History and some Myths broken, during this presentation.
Detailed Description:

Kind hearted souls, new to chicken keeping, are fearful of unhappy or sickening hens come winter’s freezing weather. Don’t fret. During this Discovery Center event Bil Mikulewicz, a backyard chicken promoter and enthusiast, will talk on how chickens deal with heat and cold, things we can do to help them deal with winter and what should be avoided. Don’t buy them those feather down coats and thermal boots til you hear this talk illustrated with slides. There will be some meandering into other things chicken; humor, history and myth but absolutely no chicken recipes.
