Summary:
Take an leisurely stroll around Bennett's Pond while looking for our neighborhood's feathered friends.
Detailed Description:

Join Allan Welby, a local birding enthusiast, for a stroll through Bennett's Pond State Park looking and listening to our returning neighbors.  This is a period of intense nest building, so our feathered friends will be very active, guarding territories, gathering supplies and tending to new hatchlings.  Join us for a 1 - 2 hour walk around one of Ridgefield's own State Parks. The park features woodlands, ponds, meadows, marshes, and local views. This creates varying habitats for our local avian residents.

Experienced birders, or those just beginning to learn about birds are all welcome.   All you need is a willingness to explore and learn about our feathered neighbors.
