Summary:
The moonless night sky is perfect for exploring our own galaxy and distant objects. This program will feature the discoveries and observations of deep space objects by Charles Messier. All Ages Welcome
Detailed Description:

This month we will be taking advantage of a moonless night sky and marvel at our own galaxy, The Milky Way.  We will include distant deep space objects meticulously cataloged by Charles Messier (1730 - 1817).  While searching for comets, Messier observed and recorded numerous nebulae, galaxies and star clusters.  Also, a moonless sky will accentuate the circumpolar constellations as well as the winter constellations, which will be sinking over the next couple of months.  Come join us and experience the universe's  incredible vastness.
