Explore an assortment of habitats, see underwater creatures, sketch a flower, or just enjoy the surroundings during this family friendly activity.
Join us for a family-friendly guided walk through the many habitats of the Garden of Ideas. We will spend time beginning to appreciate our ‘sense of place’ by pausing to experience each habitat in a unique and interactive way. By the marsh, we will peer through water windows for a clear view of the underwater creatures. In the woodland area, we will stop with our journals to capture special moments of discovery through sketching and words.
This program is designed to help create connections between children and the environment. Hands-on experiences in the outdoors provide children with a sense of place and connection to the environments in their own backyards.
