April Guided Bird Walk
This event has already taken place.
Check out our calendar for more great events.
Join us for a 2 hour walk around one of Ridgefield's own State Parks - Bennett's Pond State Park. The park features woodlands, ponds, meadows, marshes, and local views. This creates varying habitats for our local avian residents. Last month we saw at least 12 different species of birds. Let's see if we can top that!
Experienced birders, or those just beginning to learn about birds are all welcome. All you need is a willingness to explore and learn about our feathered neighbors. If you are interested in reading about the past few months of guided bird walks and what species we have seen, please visit our birding blog entry by clicking here!
All Ages Welcome
What to bring: Don't have binoculars? We will bring them for you. Wear comfortable boots and dress for the weather.
