Detailed Description:

As we stroll through Hemlock Hills we will be looking and listening for the birds that call it home.  Who are they?  Some are here all the time.  But others are just winter time guests.  Why come here in the ice and snow to spend the winter?  What do they eat?  How do they survive?  Join us as we answer these and other questions about the birds of winter.

All Ages Welcome

What to bring:  Dress for the weather - please wear sturdy boots.

Location:  Hemlock Hills Open Space, Bogus Road entrance.  Take Ridgebury Road north to Ned's Mountain Road (at points this road is very narrow) and follow to intersection of Bogus Road.  Entrance to Hemlock Hills Open Space is on the right.  Or (better this time of year)  take George Washington Highway to Old Mill Road continue straight and it will turn into Ned's Mountain Road.  Hemlock Hills will be at the intersection of Bogus Road on the left.
