Detailed Description:

Did you ever wonder what animals would feast on if they celebrate Thanksgiving?  You will find out what foods our woodland critters like to eat and how they are getting ready for the long winter.  This is the first of our Animal Detective series, where children will learn about our local wildlife.  We will feature a few of our mounted animals, read a story, make "bird cookies", and take a walk-a-bout to look for squirrels, chipmunks, birds and whoever else might have passed by.

Suitable for ages 3 - 6 years

Location:  Ridgefield Park and Recreation Building, 195 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, CT

Program Co-sponsored by Ridgefield Park and Recreation Department
