Summary:
Come celebrate Earth Day early with us by recycling paper towel tubes into lovely planters!
Detailed Description:
Join us as we make planting pots out of recycled paper towel tubes.  We will decorate them, and then plant seeds into them.  When it is time to move the small plants outdoors, the homemade pot becomes part of the soil too!  We will have plenty of tubes on hand for you to use, or you can bring along a few of your own.

Earth Day was started on April 22, 1970 as a way to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment.  Since 1990 it has become a global event celebrated in 141 countries.   Although our Earth Day programs this year do not fall on April 22 - we like to think everyday should be an Earth Day.
